It’s funny as I don’t really feel like doing the prep, but you feel motivated by seeing what everyone else is making, and what they recommend so you keep going!
Like you said, Leonie, it’s all about the collaboration. And after all the prep, I don’t feel hungry at all, but know that I have to keep eating my 3 meals a day to be successful and not slow down the metabolism. And once I start eating the meal, I really enjoy it. This is the only programme I have followed where I don’t get hunger pains!!!! Ironic since it’s consistent weight loss.
Before I started...I was an absolute chocoholic – and I liked a glass or three of red wine! I felt a need to eat a bar of chocolate every day or even more at Easter and Christmas – my weight would pile on at those times. However now (a month after finishing the 21 days) I no longer eat chocolate bars, I love Leonie’s Red Velvet cake but don’t bother with the icing for myself it’s so delicious. Leonie thanks to you my taste buds have changed! I’ve also loved trying out your lovely recipes. I even love Brussels sprouts, something I would never have believed I could say! I’ve lost 11lbs, it hasn’t even been hard, and I’m feeling so much better.

I never thought it would take me until I was 70 to find a way of eating that suits my body and health. For various reasons I haven’t been able to stick religiously to Leonie’s information on meals, however, over the last few weeks I have worked on improving my cupboard contents by switching to Gluten Free and Organic, I’ve eaten more regularly (3 meals and 3 snacks) as Leonie advised to do and I’ve tried many wonderful recipes so far and will continue to do so.
I didn’t have a huge amount of weight to lose, but today I’ve actually lost 6lbs , loads of bloating, sleeping better and moving better too. I’m telling you all this, because I know this eating style change is definitely a “change for life” that I will now stick to, and will encourage others I know to think about doing the same.

I learnt a lot about general nutrition, salt and sugar content and substitution during that time and have revisited the programme and the recipes from her recipe books many times since. No, it’s much more that that…this is a change in your eating habits for the long term. It’s also getting rid of surplus fat and toxins around your vital organs – that’s why your health will improve. You will eat in a new way that will work for the rest of your life.
Absolutely not. The reason is that you have 6 eating times a day in which you will get all the macro-nutrients and the micro-nutrients you need. People often say, “do I have to eat that much?” – they often feel like they have to eat too much!
All the recipes are simple and quick to make – they can be made if you can read a book and do basic kitchen techniques.
You and the family can all eat at the same time and eat the same foods. There will be new recipes for the family that will suit them too and they’ll enjoy too.
Most people are short of time but that be easily solved with a 7-minute work-out, strength exercise and home-based moving – it all counts. Those who don’t take time to exercise will take time to be ill…what’s your priority?
Weigh in today. I’m now 12 stone 8lbs. I started at 13 stone 3 lbs. A loss of 9 lbs. I can’t believe it. I sleep better, and can walk downstairs normally, instead of hobbling on one step at a time. More energy, and more positivity. My husband also followed the healthy eating plan to help me not to give in and he has lost 11 lbs! Thank you so much Leonie and all in the Group.
Today I reached my 21st day and I’m celebrating a new way of eating, feeling more positive and in control, less stiff, delicious food and a two kilo weight loss…I suppose that’s about 4.5lbs. My clothes definitely feel and look more comfortable! Today I couldn’t decide what to have for breakfast, there is so much choice. I’m just going to continue! I really like the food, the supportive group and all the sharing tips and information. I’m learning a lot and it keeps my mind open and flexible. Thanks Leonie, thanks everyone. Keep going!
